RANDALL THARP

entered professional tournament bass fishing in 2008 and has pocketed $1,947,425 in tournament winnings alone. In that time, he has 5 Forrest Wood Cup and 4 Bassmaster Classic qualifications. He has had victories at every level that he has competed in during his short career. His FLW Tour win at Lake Okeechobee still holds the record for the largest margin of victory in an FLW Tour event at 23-9. The highlight of Randall’s FLW Tour career was winning the Forrest Wood Cup in 2013 at the Red River. Randall is now competing at the highest level on the Bassmaster Elite Series where he captured his first Elite Series victory in 2016.

Randall signed with ARK rods in 2017 and helped provide the building blocks from which this company was formed.

Brandon Cobb

is a young professional angler on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour. 2017 will mark Brandon’s 4th year on tour. Brandon competed in his first tournament at 7 years old and has had a fishing rod in his hand ever since. He used the BFL tournament trail and college fishing as stepping stones to the FLW tour. Throughout college, Brandon fished locally as a BFL angler, where he finished in the top 12 in points from 2008-2013.  After double qualifying for the 2014 BFL All American and graduating from Clemson University, Brandon moved to the professional level.

He has found quick success on the FLW Tour, qualifying for the FLW Championship the previous two years. Brandon has capitalized on his FLW Cup visits with his two best finished on tour, a 3rd and a 9th place finish. He was also named one of the top anglers under 30 years old in the 2016 Bassmaster article “30 under 30”.

Captain Juan Ruiz

is a U.S.C.G. guide and a tournament fisherman specializing on Lake Okeechobee and lakes all over Florida. Juan competes in the FLW Costa Series, Wal-Mart T&H Marine BFL Series, and several team tournament trails. Juan finished the 2014 season as the FLW Wal-Mart BFL Angler of the Year in the Gator Division toping over 200 of Florida’s best anglers. In 2016 Captain Juan finished 12 th place in the Costa Series AOY standings and qualified for his first Costa Series Championship.

Captain Juan is the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Lake Worth and enjoys introducing troubled youth to the sport of fishing. In his spare time Juan competes in Olympic Weighting and holds numerous State Records so we know our ARK Rods are strong and powerful.
