Ark spinning rods are some of the finest rods I have ever used! Try the Randall Tharp series. Extremely light and sensitive and great for forward facing sonar applications! I will be buying more!
Fan of the 610. Not so much the 7 footer. Balance just seems off to me on the 7. I've put it on the rod rack for a back up. I'll put the 610 against any other 610 rod, though. I've caught a lot of fish with it and love it.
I had the chance to give the Tharp 6-10 Meterman spinning rod a good workout. The rod is very sensitive for its' price point. The handle and reel seat are surprisingly comfortable. The fit and finish is excellent and I would put it up against many other rods that I've owned for quality. I'm very happy with the rod. The only thing that I would change is placing the hook keeper above the reel instead of on the handle of the rod, but that is more of a personal preference thing.
The Ark rods are a great value
