I must say I really like my Essence Spinning Rods. They are light and feel really nice in my hand. Even better than that is there Customer service I dealt with Justin he's a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. Would recommend these rods to everyone.
Awesome quality rod especially with the sale price
The rod is gorgeous. I went on an atv/sxs vacation right after receiving this, and 5 other rods, from Ark. So it hasn't hit the water yet. This week I had my knee replaced so it will be a week or 2-3 before it does. So all I have for now is...... The 7'6" Essence 4-10 lbs XF/ML is super light and comfortable feeling. I plan on pairing it with a 2500 Daiwa Ballistic MQ LT Spinning Reel with 12 lbs power braid and 6lbs ande' mono. For use here in South Jersey. Always subject to change but that's the plan for now
I throw small crankbaits, wacky rig and Shakey heads on this rod. It’s absolutely perfect and super sensitive. I worked with my hands for years and lost feeling in them due to carpal tunnel, but I can still feel the bites with the Essence series.
