Bought 3 catalyzer rods for my son for Christmas. Bought on November 14th with a delivery date of November 19th. My son did not recieve the rods till Christmas. Butt of the rod broke into spinters on the 19th of February while my son was casting a 1/4 underspin. Something a 7'3 MH should have easily been able to handle. Contacted ARK on the 19th of Feb with pictures and was told that the rod was out of warranty because it is 90 days from purchase date. Obviously they do not stand behind their product and I guess your just lucky that it makes it over 90 days. It may have been out less than 10 times total. Absolutely unreal.
Very pleased with one of the rods but the second one I ordered has a bend to the left
I have been buying Ark rods at the $60-$100 price point for a few years. This rod series seems to be really well built and the feel is amazing. My wife just ordered 3 more so I can fully replace most my rods. Love the rods and the brand. Really would love to see a medium action in this series and I would be set.
I love these rods, very well made, light weight, you can cast a mile, I find myself picking one of these up more often than any other rod on the deck, great rods!
