I bought a spinning and a casting and I absolutely love both of them! They feel amazing and seem light weight! I paired the do all with a gravity 8 reel and it’s so smooth
Highly recommend
Have the gen 1 Kitchen Sink and Kinda Shakey. Forget the price, these rods are Legit. I missed or pulled off several fish on a bladed jig and mid depth cranks this season. It’s time to pull the trigger on a gen 2 Good Vibes.
I bought the Kitchen Sink rod and after using it several times I am extremely happy with it. It truly does work well with all kinds of baits and the graphite reel seat provides excellent feel. In the first evening and next morning I caught 32 bass on buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, a jointed swimbait, several topwaters, and a stickbait. I have had higher priced rods in the past but this rod will be my go to from now on.
The first Cobb rod I tried broke on the first cast. Nothing strenuous or crazy, just a normal cast. I didn’t inspect it super closely upon receiving so there could have been some shipping damage or something? It was packaged very well though so that leads me to believe there was some other defect. Ark made good on their warranty and shipped out a new one. We’ll see how this one holds up.
As for the rod itself, it seems decent. I don’t like the EVA grips or whatever they are and the camo print is a little cheesy but I knew that going in. For a $100 rod, it seems serviceable enough as long as this one doesn’t go the way of the last one.
We appreciate your feedback! We replaced your Gen I with the newest GenII and hope you will like it much better! Tight lines!
Recently got put on Ark rods by a buddy. I owe that man my life. I now own 6 ark rods and the most recent purchase a new Cobb series "the walking stick" has been a phenomenal rod! I've used it on open water and in thick cover. This rod help me put a 7.12 in the boat just the other day!
