Have not had a chance to fish with my new bfs set up but definitely looking forward to rip some lips this season, reel has a low profile and is very light, set up with 4lb FC this will be a great bfs reel for creeks, ponds and streames here in the black hills
This reel is so great with the variety of lures you can throw I could throw a trout magnet (about 1gram) about 35-40 feet with no backlash and as well a 3/16 oz swim bait and also with no problem this reel is great for a person who wants one reel for a wide range of finnese lures and baits. This is my favorite reel I own right now. If you are an average angler like me you will love this reel. But this reel would also be great for beginners and experts because of the wide range of settings. This reel is worth all 150$ that it is.
Excellent casting ability on very light lures.2 to 5 Gram baits seem to cast effortlessly. Very smooth gearing system. Very easy to adjust to different sizes and configurations of light weight lures, as long as you read the directions carefully or go to RAWR FISHING on YouTube. He has a casting/adjusting video on this very reel. Very helpful and informative. This guy knows BFS !!!
If you're interested in entering the bfs world get you an Ark Garavity BFS reel !!! It is comparable or even better than many BFS reels that cost thre times as much, or more !!! Fantastic Reel !!!
AAAAA+++++

Always been looking for a reel that replaces my spinning gear..i do not like spinning reels but i was force to use them in finesse applications.. this reel can cast tiny lures with precision.. spinning now is a thing of the past..no more twitsted line and messing with the bail. It can handle big fish! First time out with it caught five bass! A 3 pounder feels like a 10 pounder haha. BFS the way to go. Pair it with a bfs rod. Very smooth and light ..love the clicker drag.
Can’t say enough good things about the Gravity BFS reel. Very high quality design and amazing breaking system. It was easier to setup with fluorocarbon than my DC reels and a lot less learning curve. Drag clicker is a wonderful touch that I hope to see incorporated into all bait cast reels. Drag system works very well, my second fish on this reel was a 4LB largemouth on only 3LB FC Sniper line.
