They have the worst rod warranty and customer service in the industry. Very sad because I own 6 Cobb series and 2 Tharp series and love them. I had a long game break in half on a hookset and dealing with ARK was an absolute nightmare. I love the rods but despise the company enough that I'll never buy anything ARK.
I own a few of the Cobb ii rods (do-all, fairy wand, magic hartwell, old faithful, and Kitchen sink)
Never had an issue with any of them till last week!
I’m kinda disappointed in their warranty! On their warranty form you submit proof of purchase(receipt) pictures of the rod, how it broke, where you bought it..etc!
You have to send in part of the rod to get them to warranty it. I just find it super inconvenient. I hate the idea of paying to ship it back to them
They have been amazing rods so far the sensitivity has been awesome they are incredibly light and I will be purchasing more!
I have a combination of the Cobb series Gen 1 and newer Gen 2. My hookup and landing ratio has significantly increased since I switched to Ark rods. The gen 2 are much lighter and more sensitive. In my opinion one of the best, yet small improvements, was adding the soft/padded part to the top of the screw down reel seat. I also like the reel to blank contact upgrade to the reel seat.
