Pretty damn good

Love this reel!

This reel is awesome. Quality reel with zero play. Super smooth casts with great adjustability. Will definitely be buying more Ark reels for the family.

Best reel on my boats deck

I own a lot of rods n reels of every cost range available. The Gravity 7 casts the smoothest of them all. The tolerances are tight and there is no wiggle while reeling in a large bass, but the bearings allow it to be buttery smooth when casting even when throwing a light plastic with no weight. I currently run 15lb braid with a 12lb flouro leader 6' long and it is attached to the Tharp Money Maker rod and I can't find anything negative to nitpick about this setup. They are a tad on the expensive end of the spectrum and if you can't afford it, the 5 is a close second which I own as well and highly recommend also.

Worth every penny

Great smooth reel with very good performance. The unique brake system makes the reel super versatile while still excelling at everything it does. Definitely worth the price tag, even if you're a beginner.

Best Reel for the $ on the market

Can’t explain how impressed I am with the entire gravity line of reels. The gravity 7 does NOT disappoint !
