I purchased 2 Invoker Pro composite rods, in 2024 on a BOGO sale. IVP70M-G and IVP74MH-G. Both rods have a nice look to them and are comfortable in the hand. I really do like the look of these rods, but I am not a fan of the micro guides. It doesn't really allow for leader knots, which limits your options. Since these are cranking rods, it is not a huge deal as I just use fluorocarbon with them.
The IVP74MH-G broke on me after a few months so I submitted a warranty claim and I was send the Invoker Tour model IVT74MH-G to replace the old Invoker Pro. This rod had one of the guides pop off about a month ago. It came clean out from the wrapping so I just stuck it back in and kept fishing. I am thinking I may just try to glue it back on. I also had the logo pop off on the bottom of the buttcap. The warranty is not as good on the Tour as it was on the Pro and I don't think it is worth $80 to fix this rod again.
I find these rods to have a spongy feel and are not that sensitive, but they do a good job keeping fish pinned. I do a lot of chatterbait fishing with the IVT74MH-G. Since these are the only glass rods I own, I can't compare them to other glass rods. I think I still prefer a graphite cranking rods.
So within several days I had 2 rods go belly up with the reel seat that started rotating on the rod blank. Contacted Ark customer service talked to a nice gal there, and was told she would call back in ten minutes. So I waited 90 minutes and call back. My call went to voice mail, and is where it stands.
Great company stand behind there work
I mistakenly ordered the wrong size Rod and did not realize it until I was on the water.
Talked with someone in the company that said I wouldn’t need any anything bigger for what I was fishing. It wasn’t the area. It’s the size of the weight that makes the rod not comfortable.
I made a few pitches with it and realized it was underpowered for what I wanted.
Tried to send it back and they said they would not honor because it’s Used.
I Bought three rods this month And had planned to buy
Several more by the end of the year.
Because you would not switch it out I won’t be buying anymore from your company. Nothing wrong with your rods. More about your policies.
What can I say?, This Rod is perfect perfection.! durable lightweight, and the looks and color scheme is out of this world!! a very sleek great looking Rod!! very good action it’s super sensitive
