Super light. Plenty of backbone with a fast tip. Going out this weekend to try it out. Great price point!
Super light while strong frog rod.
I purchased the LCF70MHXS and I have roughly 20 hours of use with it now. I have caught fish in the 7-pound range and the rod has done very well. I am that angler that prefers a little more backbone in a spinning rod than most. I fish a shakey head with it most of the time and it performs just as I wanted. It is also very good for a fluke, weightless worm, and wacky rig senko. Once again Ark has produced a quality rod at an affordable price. I wish they would make a 7MHF or 7'1" MHX in the Sniper II series. In my opinion the Sniper II line is the best bang for the buck but, this Lancer Gen IV has definately filled my requirement with excellence.
For the budget minded angler, I have the 6’10” ML spinning rod (Gen IV) and this rod has technique specific action for a dropshot but versatility for a ned/tube/shaky head/light jighead minnow presentations. Compared to other price point rods and brands, this is extremely light and great sensitivity, all keys to a good drop shot rod. The matte grey is a nice finishing touch as well.
These rods are affordable and feel great! Love the colors and positive they will catch some big fish! Another great product from Ark!
