I have been shaking a minnow with the Desperation and it has been phenomenal at it. great with 3-4 inch minnows and can handle the big bass with ease. It will also handle some big drum as well because it happens. I have also used it to crappie fish when I haven't had my crappie rods (can't wait for the ARK crappie series to drop) with me and I find a good school to stock the freezer.
Recently bought the Bite Getter to try with the bigger 5-7 inch minnows. but it feels great. Both rods are paired with Gravity G5 2500s.

I was very impressed with how great this rod looked when it arrived. I have fished with the rod twice thus far and I am amazed at the sensitivity in the Rod. I actually purchased this rod for my son to use when we are fishing because I did not want him to use my expensive G Loomis rods. This rod preforms as good as my high dollar G Loomis rods that I normally fish with. I can see me purchasing more of these rods in the future.
