Not a good experience

I've recently purchased a Cobb Series Casting Rod. Prior to purchasing the rod I contacted Ark to find out a timeframe and cost for delivery as I had a fishing trip planned. I told the contact where I was located and they told me (in writing) that the timeframe was 3-4 business days and the cost was $20.00 shipping. Not thrilled with $20.00 shipping but I wanted the rod prior to my trip so I was good with it. After NOT receiving the rod in the 3-4 business day timeframe I contacted Ark and was told that delivery time was within 7 business days. If I would have been told that upfront I would have ordered a different rod from a different company. The rod did not arrive prior to my fishing outing. When I contacted Ark for a refund of my shipping cost (and providing them the day I ordered the rod and the statement from their employee of the 3-4 day delivery, they refused. Once again stating their, within 7 day delivery time. When an employee makes a mistake in a business I understand that - mistakes happen and I'm not upset with that part of it. It's the way Ark handled their company's mistake. I have since ordered an Okuma rod and it arrived one day ahead of schedule.The good news is that my Okuma rod is GREAT. The Ark rod looks ok but I don't know how it feels as I didn't get a chance to fish it.

Cobb review

Nice rod. Plan on using it as a speckled trout rod on the coast of Georgia. I took advantage of the BOGO deal. ARK sent me 4 rods. I know what's right and believe in karma. I returned the 2 Cobb rods that I was not charged. I did request some ARK stickers, but did not receive any. Maybe ARK will send me some stickers or a large tee shirt as a thank you for not keeping 2 free rods. E mail or call me.

Cobb Series Rods Rock

I must say , I am a high end rod snob and fix mostly GLoomis NRX rods but the Cobb series is the best bang for the buck in the industry. The buzz bait rod is spot on for what it is intended for. Love the flipping rod as well. Don’t need expensive rods to get the job done.
