6’8” The rod is light and sensitive, but it also has a soft tip. As you get into the fish the backbone kicks in and allows you to get the hook into the fish and control it.
First trip out with new rod paired with Shimano Miravel. Excellent feel. Very good response for working the bait. Light and sensitive. Loved my essence rod but with a few more trips, I could see this rod becoming my favorite dimiki rig rod.
I was looking for a rod to use for my ball head minnow and i found it! super light and sensitive rod. You can feel everything your bait is doing. Then it has a great back bone for hooksets and fighting that trophy bass. Don't hesitate to buy if you're looking for a great lightweight sensitive rod!!
I have the 7’4” MLF spinning. It is comfortable in the hand and light weight. I think it has a touch more backbone than most ML rods, which is perfectly ok with me. I do wish it had slightly larger line guides but that is a personal preference. I haven’t caught anything large on it yet but I have no doubt it will perform perfectly. It is a very nice looking rod in a simplistic way, which I really appreciate. Overall, this is a high quality rod priced very well, but what else would you expect from an Ark rod?!?!
