I used this rod for the first time three days ago and fell in love with it. This rod is light and feels like an extension of my arm when casting. It is by far the best spinning rod I have ever used. It helped me to land a 6 lb 10 Oz largemouth on 8 lb test fluoro a few days ago. I highly recommend this rod.

2024 Tharp Series Spinning Rod
Bought this rod to replace some aging gear. I fish out of a kayak year round and often. Managed to hook into my PB Smallie, first fish I had caught on this rod. It handled it very well even in strong current. I never felt like it didn't have enough backbone to fight it. Quality feels very premium for the price you are paying. Will for sure be buying a few more Arks for different applications.
