One of the best BFS reels on the market

This reel is the real deal. It's very well made, casts like a dream with light baits and the drag is good with light line. Matched with the rod it is a heck of a combo for bass fishing bait finesse. I have been smashing smallies on the creeks with this setup all summer.

Great Reel

I have no complaints about this reel. It throws light 3g lures for my bass fishing no problem. I'm using 6lb flouro and a ML Kestrel rod. Very happy so far. I might get another down the line for braid to flouro leader for even smaller setups (crappie fishing), but I will not order from Ark. It took over a week and a half for them to process and ship the item and me to get it. Nearly a week just for them to process and get it shipped. Great product, but their processing and shipping times are terrible. If I didn't have that bad experience this would be 5 stars as the product itself is awesome and I think fair enough pricing (sure I want cheaper but I think it has great value at its price point). **Updating review to 5 stars since Ark cared enough to respond to the review and their reasoning to delay is fully reasonable.**

My son and I ordered two 2024 Tharp Series Casting Rod's. I cannot tell you how sensitive the rod is. You feel the slightest tap. Caught this nice bass on the first night of using this rod and caught several other bass and bluegill since then. These rods are 100!%
