I could not be happier with this set up.

I recently just started dabbling in bfs. So I initially was using tatula sv's with micro spools but they just didn't work that well at the 2g weight. So I snagged a gravity bfs and it felt great, so i snagged another.

I own and use bfs reels from budget to enthusiast, and the Ark Gravity BFS hits the mark as the best middle ground reel for bait finesse that I have used! It ticks all the boxes for the features that I look for in a bait finesse reel. I am quite impressed with its versatility, quality and performance. I have a feeling that I will be adding more Ark BFS reels to my finesse arsenal.

I’ve only taken my Gravity BFS reel out for a handful of trips, but to say I’m impressed so far is an understatement. The main thing about it that’s been genuinely blowing my mind is the sheer versatility of the baking system. The multi stage adjustment of the spool takes the Gravity BFS to a level I wouldn’t expect from a reel at this price point. This reel unlike many other bait finesse reels truly works out of the box with a wide array of bait finesse applications. I’ve found that most other reels tend to be too heavily or lightly braked for certain sized lures. This leads many to need to modify a reel in order to get optimal performance out of it. This is far from the case with the Gravity BFS! At this price, you would be well served to try it for yourself.
