Ordered 2 of the Gravity 8s and they are easy to dial in, lightweight and cast great.Will sling a weightless trick worm as an example smile. Exceeded my expectations. Friendly people that make customer service a priority. If you're in the Market for a new baitcaster I highly recommend the Gravity 8.
Basically what the title says. I bought this reel on the bogo sale and when the reel came in, it sounded grinding off the back(no line ). It's okay I use Shimano reels and is use to their silent tune so maybe ark don't have this in their reels, but I couldnt get over spending this much money on a reel this grinds.Send the reels back to ark, they send it back to me. It still sound the same, so I did my own work and figure out the spool rubs on the frame and will scratch or bent the spool. The grinding noise wasn't a grind but scratching noise from the spool being bent.
I have three of the Gravity 8 reels and I'm very happy with them. I probably have about 12 hours fishing time on each of them so they are still "new" as far as use goes. Easy to set up and cast as well as any reel I own.
Smoothest, best performing reel I’ve ever used. Wish I had bought more than 6.
I have only been using my reels for a couple weeks but so far I have been really impressed. I have a lot of high end reels and these cast just as far and are just as smooth. Very happy with my purchase thus far.
