Bought this rod to replace some aging gear. I fish out of a kayak year round and often. Managed to hook into my PB Smallie, first fish I had caught on this rod. It handled it very well even in strong current. I never felt like it didn't have enough backbone to fight it. Quality feels very premium for the price you are paying. Will for sure be buying a few more Arks for different applications.
2024 Tharp Series Spinning Rod
I have not got to really use it much yet but I did have it out yesterday and it is light and very comfortable to cast with.
