Best bang for your buck, very durable
The newly designed reel seat has less material and the point on the bottom of the grip seems small and sharper the my older rods. I have not used them yet since the water is frozen over now. I have ordered some after market products to address my concerns about the grip issues I have as well. I'll update this review in spring. I like how light these are.
Been a tackle junkie for 35 years and somehow never stumbled across ARK rods. I was shocked when first arrived -Cobb spinning medium light. I’ve got several dozen from NRX/world class/better t Croix-phoenix down to Stars n tatula/curado. Relatively simple finish but well-executed, But the rod handled/senisitivity/weight—ordered 3 more different Cobbs n a couple invokers. Could not be more impressed. At these price points, remarkable rods.
Hard to believe this is a 100 rod. The action is great and it is super light. Will be buying many many more.
