Sniper II Series Casting Rod

The Sniper II Series are very nice, light weight and sensitive rods. I have the 7' MHFC, MHRC, and HRC. All three perform very well. The MHF I almost use exclusively for Texas rig 1/2 oz and under. I can feel every little tick on the bait and really tells me what the bottom composition is like. The MHR I use for bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, square bills, swim jigs and pretty much any moving bait. I really like the HR for heavier spinnerbaits and buzz baits, but I have thrown football jigs on it with no problem. Again, these rods are very sensitive and well worth the $200 price point. If I had to give one negative, it would be for me (personal preference) the grip is just a touch thin. I would prefer just a little more bulk on the grip, but I have used them enough now that I have gotten used to the thinner handle and it doesn't pose any problems. If you're on the fence about buying a Sniper II, just do it, I'm betting you won't be disappointed!!
